Characters make up the world...

After having read "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand, these are my initial reactions about the book.

Visualization of characters is intense and gives an in depth understanding of Rand's power of thinking. Howard Roark personifies excellence in profession.High thinking, uncompromising ideals and an approach that wins even before the battle begins are the hallmark of his struggle to live ideally in this world.

Having been exposed to Arabic language related stuff for the past few days, one thing struck me which I thought should post. I am not sure if everyone know this.

Arabic is written from right to left unlike most of the other languages. This is a well known fact.
But the Arabic numerals are written left to right. I was just wondering why this paradox.

Might be because the Arabs borrowed the number system from Indians they were forced to follow
what Indians had developed :-)
